    If you are wanting to buy a used one, make sure all the timing has been done, it has working air-suspension, the front seat bottoms uncracked (inevitable) and that is about it. One of the more time consuming cars to work on with engine in the car if you plan on doing head gaskets and re sealing the motor. Parts are cheap (labor prices is what kills the deal if unable to work on it yourself) Still pretty quick for what it is, and the V8 Timing belt cars (not FSI) are super reliable just as any old 1.8T, 2.8. Expect to pay alot for one that is in excellent shape. Large trunk, and even the normal A8 (non L) has plenty of room. All American A8 D3s should have BOSE, and they have plentyyy of bass. Navigation is also accurate, and updated discs can be used. MMI is easy to get used to with due time.…
