Performance

From a performance perspective, the 2025 Discovery is unchanged. This SUV continues to be available in four trim levels. The first two trims, which are the P300S and the P300 Dynamic SE, are outfitted with a turbo 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine. This system produces 296 horsepower. The P360 Dynamic SE and the P360 Metropolitan Edition come with a turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine. This is a mild-hybrid system that puts out 355 horsepower. Both engines feature an eight-speed auto transmission and all-wheel drive.

Appearance

On the exterior, the 2025 Discovery is almost identical to its 2024 counterpart. However, fog lights are now standard for all trims in the 2025 model year. The Discovery is easy to spot on the road with its boxy cabin and tall yet rounded nose. The sides express power with a rounded contour and a crisp crease streaming to the rear at an angle. The squared-off grille has a thick, hexagon-style mesh pattern. The modern headlights are integrated with the grille and boast a rolling LED accent. Some trims add a heated windshield, headlight washers, a towing package, a power lower tailgate, a hands-free liftgate, a solar-attenuating windshield and up to 22-inch wheels.

Features

Some of the optional features available in the 2024 Discovery have become standard for the 2025 model year. Standard or available trims offered in both model years include leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, a front sliding sunroof with a rear fixed sunroof, an 11.4-inch touch display screen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a surround-view camera, a Meridian sound system, a wireless charging station, parking sensors, a head-up display, power-folding seats in the second and third rows, a four-zone climate control system, a refrigerated center console, and more.
