2025 Range Rover Evoque vs 2025 Range Rover Velar
Serving Union City, GA
The 2025 Range Rover Evoque is the smallest and most affordable SUV in the Range Rover lineup. Directly above it in the lineup is the 2025 Range Rover Velar. These two-row models introduced extensive updates in the 2024 model year, so they are mostly unchanged for the new model year. What are the key differences between these popular, high-end models?
Performance
The two trims for the 2025 Range Rover Evoque share the same powertrain. This is a 246-horsepower, inline-four, turbo 2.0-liter engine. The system includes standard all-wheel drive and a nine-speed auto transmission. Both trims are available with adjustable sport modes and an adaptive suspension as upgrades. The 2025 Range Rover Velar is available with both a gas and a hybrid powertrain. The gas-powered four-cylinder, turbo 2.0-liter engine generates 247 horsepower. The mild-hybrid V6, turbo inline-six system produces 395 horsepower. Both trims feature all-wheel drive and an eight-speed auto transmission, and they are available with the same optional mechanical features.
Appearance
The Range Rover Evoque takes a unique spin on the brand's classic, boxy shape. It shows off a flatly descended roof with strong side accents that angle upward. The fenders are flared and black molding runs at the bottom of the door panels. At the front, a minimized, rectangular grille connects with slender, LED-enhanced headlights. The bold air inlets are accented with black crossbars. The slightly larger Range Rover Velar has a less dramatically angled roof and sleek doors. The bottom of the doors shows off a body-colored ledge and angled molding. The front end is comparable to the Range Rover Evoque design but has a larger grille, headlights, and air inlets.
Features
These are premium SUVs that share many of the same elite features. Some of these are a 360-degree camera, heated seats for both rows, a heated windshield, a dual-zone auto climate control system with an air purifier, a head-up display, leather seats, forward collision detection and avoidance, a Median sound system, a panoramic glass roof, an 11.4-inch touch display screen, wireless phone connectivity, a wireless charging pad, and a few other features. The Range Rover Velar is also offered with massaging front seats and an automated parking system.
