2023 Discovery vs 2022 Discovery
Serving Union City, GA
The midsize Land Rover Discovery SUV balances rugged capabilities with a sophisticated, standout style. For both 2022 and 2023, the Discovery is mid-generational. However, several notable improvements have been made to the 2023 Discovery. At Land Rover South Atlanta, we will fully support you with your next SUV selection and will give you complete details about the models and trims in stock today.
Performance
In 2023, the Discovery trim lineup will expand with the limited-edition Metropolitan Edition trim level. This is the top-level trim, and it has the same performance capabilities as the other higher-level Discovery trims. The lower trims come with a 296-horsepower, turbocharged V6. The higher trims have a 355-horsepower, mild-hybrid, turbo inline-six engine. For 2022 and 2023, both engines are linked to an eight-speed auto transmission and all-wheel drive.
Appearance
The new Metropolitan Edition adds exterior features like a hands-free liftgate, a front sunroof, panoramic glass at the rear, bright outer trim, and a unique wheel design. Other than these changes, the style of the Land Rover Discovery holds steady for the 2022 and 2023 model years. It expresses its refinement and strength through its tall, boxy cabin and smooth, slightly angled hood. The sides of the Discovery are personalized with an upper accent line, lower molding, arched fenders, and bold contouring across the doors. The front protrudes roundly, and its look is established by a commanding bumper flanked by vertical air vents with linear flares. The small, black grille corresponds with the modern LED headlight design.
Features
Inside the cabin, the 2023 Discovery shows off a few improvements. These include adding a reconfigurable instrument panel, wireless device charging, and adaptive cruise control as standard features. The new Metropolitan Edition adds a head-up display, power-folding and heated seats in the back two rows, a four-zone auto climate control system, and a few others. The base trim for 2022 and 2023 has leather upholstery, a three-zone climate control system, keyless ignition, panoramic glass, a Meridian sound system, a navigation system, a surround-view camera, an 11.4-inch touch display screen, and several additional features.
