Performance

For both the Defender 90 and the Defender 110, the base engine is a 296-horsepower, turbo 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine. This engine connects to an eight-speed auto transmission. These versions also have low-range gearing with a two-speed transfer case and all-wheel drive. Two other powertrains are available for these trim levels. These include a 395-horsepower V6 engine and a 518-horsepower, supercharged V8.

Appearance

The door configuration is the most substantial exterior difference between the Defender 90 and the Defender 110. All Defender body styles have rectangular headlights, a U-shaped LED bar, and a linear theme across the grille. The Defender stands tall with a boxy shape, and its sides display a tall grill, black molding, and prominent wheel fenders. Depending on the trim selected, the Defender may have exterior gear like 18-inch wheels or more extensive roof rails, power-folding and heated side mirrors, a panoramic sunroof, foglights, and others.

Features

The Defender 90 and the Defender 110 are available in several trims, and the features vary based on the trim rather than the body style. Some of these features are USB ports, heated and cooled front seats, heated rear seats, an 11.4-inch touch display screen, remote vehicle monitoring, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a signal booster with a wireless charging pad, forward collision mitigation, leather upholstery, a 360-degree camera, a water depth sensor, a digital instrument panel, an upgraded audio system, and numerous others.
