2022 Range Rover Sport vs 2022 Range Rover

Serving Atlanta, GA

Luxury and power collide with beautiful results in the Range Rover lineup. The Range Rover is the premium crossover SUV that has been a strong contender for Atlanta’s SUV shoppers for years. Now that you have plans to upgrade to a new SUV soon, you need to know more about how the Range Rover compares to the smaller Range Rover Sport. In addition to being smaller, the Range Rover Sport has a significantly lower price tag and the convenience of three rows in its cabin. What else should you be aware of before you pick out your next SUV from Land Rover South Atlanta?

The differences between the 2022 Range Rover and the 2022 Range Rover Sport continue under the hoods. The Range Rover comes with a 4.4-liter turbo, V8 engine that delivers 617 horsepower. The Range Rover Sport is available with several engines. The base engine is an I-6 gas engine that produces 355 horsepower. The top Range Rover Sport trim level benefits from a V8, 575-horsepower engine. Notably, the larger Range Rover also comes with an electronic air suspension system.

These two models are siblings, but they are easy to differentiate on the road. The Range Rover Sport is the taller and longer of the two vehicles. Its roof remains relatively level, and its sides are smooth except for tall, gill-like air vents and a horizontal pinstripe. The grille is larger than the Range Rover Sport SUV’s grille, and the headlights have a geometric, rectangular theme. The Range Rover Sport, on the other hand, has a stronger angle through the roof. The sides have several personality lines as well as a small air vent mounted near the front fender. The headlights have the same look as the Range Rover SUV’s headlights, but they are shorter.

You can find many shared features between these two premium SUVs. For example, they both have a high-end audio system, a multi-zone auto climate control system, and a Touch Pro Duo display screen for the smart device integration technology. However, the Range Rover has a few extra touches that are not available on the Range Rover Sport. These include a sliding panoramic roof, rear executive seating, warm massage seats, cabin air ionization, and more.
