This year's Discovery Sport is unchanged from a style standpoint. It has a sporty stance with a tall, flat roof and a strongly sloped hood. The upper and lower accents on the door panels are angled as well, which combine to create a sense of forward motion. The front of the 2026 Discovery Sport is distinguished by a compact, rectangular grille flanked by an innovative, dual-elemental LED headlight design. The trapezoidal bumper sits between vertical air inlets. These inlets are styled with horizontal, black accents. Exterior features available with the Discovery Sport are a fixed glass roof, rain-sensing wipers, 19-inch wheels, power-folding side mirrors, a heated windshield, heated headlight washers, and several others.
The Discovery Sport Landmark Edition has a single powertrain option: a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbo gas engine that produces 246 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. This system features standard all-wheel drive and includes a nine-speed automatic transmission. The Dynamic Handling package adds an adaptive suspension system.
