What's New for the 2026 Discovery?
The 2026 Land Rover Discovery is the midsize SUV drivers choose when they expect off-road functionality without sacrificing luxurious features and finishes. This year, the Discovery is a mid-generation vehicle that introduces two special-edition options: the P360 Gemini and the P360 Tempest. New wheel designs are introduced across all trim levels.
The Gemini is offered as a direct replacement for the Dynamic SE trim. It introduces a dual-tone paint color scheme as well as six contrasting colors for the roof. In addition, it is available with a logo on the B-pillars and has special 21-inch wheels. This trim level also adds interior features, including a four-zone auto climate control system and a refrigerated center console. The Tempest is the top trim available in 2026. It sports copper accents on the 22-inch wheels.
The Discovery Sport is confidently styled with a forward-leaning stance, angled hood and boxy cabin. The sides are distinguished by a sporty air intake near the front fender that fades into a pinstripe accent. Slanted contouring flows between the sleekly flared fenders. The curved nose displays a protruding bumper and squared-off grille. Vertical air inlets are styled with a series of stacked accent bars. Exterior features available for the Discovery include a tow hitch, a heat-reducing windshield, a powered lower tailgate, headlight washers, heated washer jets, matte paint, roof rails, and more.
In 2026, the Discovery's base features include an 11.4-inch touch display screen, adaptive cruise control, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a three-zone auto climate control system, heated seats, lane-keeping assistance, a surround-view camera system, and others. Higher trim levels build on these features with heated seats for all three rows, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, Intelligent Seat Fold, adaptive cruise control, parking sensors at the front and rear, a head-up display, and more.
