 What's New for the 2024 Discovery?
The Land Rover Discovery integrates off-road capabilities with a luxurious, three-row cabin to give drivers in Atlanta and beyond the best of both worlds. The 2024 Discovery is identical to the 2023 model year, with one important exception. The R-Dynamic trim level has been deleted from the lineup.
The impressive style of the 2024 Land Rover Discovery is easily recognized on the road with its boxy profile and sweeping side accentuation. Its sides also have a curved air vent, black molding, and slightly defined fenders. At the front end, the curved LED light bar in the headlights fades to the rear. These headlights flank a rectangular grille and are accompanied by tall, horizontally accented air intakes. The base trim's exterior features are 20-inch wheels, heated and power-folding side mirrors, and a panoramic glass roof. Higher trims add larger wheels, a hands-free tailgate, a towing package, an additional sunroof, and heated windshield nozzles.
The two powertrains that were available with the 2023 Land Rover Discovery are also offered in the 2024 model year. These include a 296-horsepower, turbo four-cylinder engine, and a 355-horsepower, turbo V6 with mild-hybrid tech. All trims feature an auto eight-speed transmission and all-wheel drive. Select trims also have an adaptive air suspension system and an Off-Road Capability package.
All of the 2024 Discovery trims are well-equipped with desired features like a three-zone auto climate control system, leather upholstery, heated front seats, a keyless ignition, auto emergency braking, a blind-spot alert, lane keeping, parking sensors, a surround-view camera system, adaptive cruise control, smart device charging, a digital instrument cluster, an 11.4-inch touch display screen, and a 13-speaker Meridian sound system. Higher trims add a power-folding function for the second and third row of seats, more speakers to the sound system, heated rear seats for the second and third rows, greater auto climate management system control, a heated steering wheel, a head-up display, a chilled center console, an air purifier, and others.
