The prestigious Range Rover SUV ventured into exciting territory in the 2022 model year with the release of its fifth generation. Now, the 2023 model year brings another bold improvement to light with the introduction of the SV trim. The Range Rover SV is the top-of-the-line trim, and it offers more elaborate luxuries and features as well as various customization options.
Under the hood, the Range Rover SV is available with three powertrains. The base option is a 395-horsepower, six-cylinder, turbo 3.0-liter engine. The more powerful gas engine is a 523-horsepower, V8, turbo 4.4-liter system. A plug-in hybrid variant is also available, and it offers 434 combined horsepower. All powertrains are associated with all-wheel drive and an automatic eight-speed transmission.
The Range Rover SV façade is undeniably elegant, with decadent, smooth surfaces and a desirable, boxy profile. Chrome adorns the tall accent feature on the sides, the wide grille, and the linear-styled front bumper. The headlights on the Range Rover SV have a rectangular quality with a stunning LED light ribbon on two sides. The SV trim also includes 22-inch wheels, special exterior trim, and sound-reducing glass for the side and front windows.
The interior of the Range Rover SV is decadently designed with near-aniline leather, plated metals, and a two-tone color scheme. Suede is available as an alternative material. The SV trim comes with an upgraded entertainment system in the rear, power-assisted closing doors, automated parking, a head-up display, a refrigerator in the front console, a Meridian sound system with 35 speakers, massaging and heated front seats, heated rear seats, power rear sunshades, a four-zone climate control system, an air purifier, a 360-degree camera, parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, a wireless charging pad, a hands-free tailgate, a panoramic sunroof, and other desirable features.
